There is not a deadline so to speak, but the Allen-Bradley 1785 and 1771 series hardware was discontinued in June 2017. The hardware is no longer sold or supported by Rockwell Automation. The cost and risk of continuing to use the hardware is increasing as replacement parts become more scarce. Upgrading is recommended rather than risking a failure without an available replacement.
